The Youth Ministry Lead is a key volunteer leadership role at Harvest Church, responsible for cultivating a Christ-centered, relational, and missional ministry for students (typically ages 12–18) and their families. This role focuses on discipleship, belonging, and spiritual formation, helping students grow in their faith while remaining connected to the broader life of the church. The Youth Ministry Lead partners closely with parents, volunteers, and church leadership to create a ministry that aligns with Harvest Church’s mission, values, and culture. Youth ministry at Harvest is not a standalone program, but an integrated part of the church family, inviting students to belong, grow as disciples, and live on mission.
General Responsibilities ——————————————————————————
1. Youth Discipleship & Spiritual Formation
● Develop and oversee a discipleship pathway that helps students know Jesus, grow in faith, and live it out.
● Create opportunities for Bible teaching, discussion, prayer, and spiritual practices that are age-appropriate and Christ-centered.
● Foster authentic relationships where students feel safe, known, and encouraged in their walk with Christ.
● Encourage students to participate in the broader life of the church (worship, service, outreach).
2. Family Partnership & Support
● Partner with parents/guardians as the primary spiritual influencers in their students’ lives.
● Provide resources, communication, and encouragement to help families disciple their teenagers at home.
● Strengthen the connection between youth ministry, families, and the church community.
3. Volunteer Leadership & Team Development
● Recruit, train, and support a team of committed youth ministry volunteers.
● Equip volunteers to disciple students relationally and spiritually.
● Foster a healthy, unified, and sustainable volunteer culture.
● Develop leaders who can share responsibility and help ministry grow.
4. Curriculum & Teaching
● Select, adapt, or develop biblically sound, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Harvest Church’s theology and values.
● Ensure teaching is gospel-centered, practical, and rooted in Scripture.
● Maintain consistency with the church’s overall discipleship philosophy and teaching direction.
5. Safety & Care
● Develop, implement, and oversee child and youth safety policies and procedures.
● Ensure all volunteers are properly screened, trained, and compliant with safety protocols.
● Create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for all students.
6. Welcome, Belonging & Assimilation
● Oversee first impressions and intentional follow-up for new students and families.
● Help students and parents feel welcomed, connected, and valued at Harvest.
● Create pathways for students to build friendships, find mentors, and engage in community.
7. Outreach, Service & Special Events
● Encourage a missional mindset, helping students look beyond themselves to serve others.
● Collaborate with the Missions & Outreach Leader when appropriate (service projects, mission opportunities, Impact Sundays).
● Plan and oversee special events such as youth gatherings, retreats, camps, service projects, and family-oriented events.
● Use events as tools for discipleship and connection—not just activity.

The First Impressions & Hospitality Leader is a volunteer leadership role at Harvest Church responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and clearly guided experience for every guest who walks through our doors. This leader ensures that guests feel seen, valued, and invited into next steps — helping move people from: Visitor → Returning Guest → Connected → Serving/Partner. This role oversees Sunday hospitality environments, guest follow-up systems, and volunteer teams while helping build a culture of belonging that aligns with Harvest Church’s mission and values: GATHER • GROW • GO.
General Responsibilities ——————————————————————————
1. Sunday Morning Hospitality
Oversee all front-facing guest environments, including:
● Hospitality cart / Coffee Café
● First Impressions Table
● Greeters (doors and transition areas)
● Guest gift preparation (if applicable)
● Signage and directional flow
Responsibilities include:
● Ensuring a warm, proactive welcome culture
● Maintaining inventory and purchasing needed supplies within budget
● Coordinating setup and tear-down of hospitality areas
● Training volunteers to intentionally look for first-time guests and individuals who may need assistance
2. Guest Experience Flow
Design and oversee the guest experience from: Parking Lot → Entry → Worship → Dismissal → Follow-Up
Ensure:
● Clear signage and directions
● Simple and effective connection card process
● Friendly, visible First Impressions presence
● Clear communication of next steps
3. Assimilation Pathway
Develop and maintain a simple and clear connection pathway for guests.
Example pathway:

4. Invitation to Next Step (Partnership 101, Small Groups, Serve Team)
Responsibilities include:
● Overseeing guest tracking and follow-up
● Ensuring no guest slips through the cracks
● Working with the Lead Pastor to strengthen connection systems
4. Follow-Up & Guest Care
Follow-up should remain personal and relational rather than automated.
● Ensure every first-time guest receives contact within 24–48 hours
● Coordinate handwritten notes, texts, or emails
● Track repeat attendance
● Alert the Lead Pastor to meaningful pastoral care needs
5. Volunteer Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers serving in First Impressions and Hospitality. Includes:
● Door Greeters
● Hospitality Cart Team
● Welcome Table Team
● Guest Follow-Up Volunteers
Responsibilities:
● Schedule and support team members
● Provide ongoing training and encouragement
● Foster a culture of ownership and warmth
● Celebrate wins and highlight stories of connection
6. Culture Leadership
Model and protect the culture of Harvest Church. This leader helps set the tone for:

The Production Ministry Lead is a volunteer leadership role responsible for the technical execution of worship services and special events at Harvest Church. This position oversees all audio, visual, lighting, and streaming systems to ensure services are supported with excellence and consistency. This role provides technical leadership, not creative or pastoral leadership. Creative direction, service flow, and stage leadership are under the authority of the Worship Leader and Lead Pastor. The Production Ministry Lead partners closely with the Worship Leader to support the vision for each service through technical excellence i.e. executes service flow, pre/post-service song selection, slide transitions, and stage direction as specified by the Worship Leader, Event Leader, or Pastor.
Note: Production directly supports worship, therefore, ongoing communication and alignment with the Worship Leader is essential.
General Responsibilities ——————————————————————————
1. Worship Service Technical Support
● Oversee operation and maintenance of all audio, visual, lighting, and streaming systems
● Manage live sound mixing and lighting during services
● Coordinate slides, ProPresenter, and video elements
● Ensure technical execution aligns with the service plan provided by the Worship Leader and Lead Pastor
● Troubleshoot technical issues proactively
2. Volunteer Team Development
● Recruit, train, and schedule production volunteers
● Provide skill development in sound, lighting, and media systems
● Build a culture of humility, collaboration, and service
● Model a servant-hearted posture toward worship and pastoral teams
3. Special Event Production Support
● Provide technical support for special events as requested
● Meet with event leaders to understand technical needs
● Oversee sound, lighting, media, and livestream during events

The Production Ministry Lead does not have authority over:
● Worship set selection

● Stage leadership decisions
● Creative direction of services or events
● Ministry strategy beyond production systems
